Cool-Roof Systems is a San Diego based Spray Foam Roofing and Spray Foam Insulation Contractor (licensed & bonded) servicing commercial and residential properties within Southern California.  We have been in business since 2004 and are a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating.  We are a certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

We have over 10,000,000 square feet of high efficiency Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Cool Roof compliant Spray Polyurethane Foam Roofing Systems installed for our clients and friends.  Lyle Orth, founder and President of Cool-Roof Systems, has been in the spray foam industry since 1988.

We are an Accredited Contractor Company with the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance Professional Certification Program (SPFA-PCP).  We are San Diego’s only BASF “Team Q (Quality)” approved contractor.  In addition to our BASF approvals, we are approved/certified contractors for Demilec Foam Insulation, Bayer Materials Sciences Roofing and Insulation, General Coatings SPF and Coating Systems, National Coatings Corporation SPF and Coating Systems, United Coatings SPF Roofing and Coating Systems and with other quality manufactures. We are proud to provide professional installation of these high quality materials and systems for our clients.

Lyle Orth

President & CEO

Lyle Orth is our Spray Foam Expert.

Mr. Orth has 28 years of experience in the Spray Foam Industry, including Applicator, Estimator, Project Manager, Manufactures Representative and Owner. He is a SPFA PCP Certified Roofing Master Installer and Project Manager.

He has sprayed over 4 million square feet himself and managed over 10 million square of SPF roofing and insulation.

He served 3 years as Chairman of the SPFA Accreditation Committee and is committed to doing Spray Foam right.

Paula Morrison

Vice President

Paula Morrison is our Vice President and Owns the company with Lyle.

She utilizes her experience in banking, manufacturing (owner/operator), Real Estate investing/construction, and 10 years in the Spray Foam Industry to handle the Administrative end of the business.

Will Evans

Sr Project Manager & Chief Operations Officer

Will has worked for Cool-Roof Systems since 2007.  Beginning in the field, then growing into the estimating/project management and Chief Operations Manager.  He is a SPFA PCP Certified Assistant and has grown with the company.

In addition to being a Commercial & Residential Project Manager, Will has taken on the responsibilities of the Chief Operations Officer.  His field experience enhances his ability to determine the requirements to properly address Production, Service, and Maintenance issues.

Kevin Purcell

Project Manager

Kevin joined Cool~Roof Systems in 2018.

He is a professional with experience in estimating and project management within the construction industry.

HR, Morale, and Security Department

Princess is a 10-year-old American Golden Retriever.

She has been with Cool~Roof Systems since she was 6 weeks old.  She understands her commands in three different languages.
